General Ledger Output File

The GLFILEMGSI report, GL ASCII Output File, creates formatted fixed-length records of general ledger information that can be saved as an ASCII text file for importing into financial software systems.

Each output record is 124 characters in length.
The output records are sorted and summarized by GL account code, labor segment 1 code, labor segment 2 code, labor segment 3 code, labor segment 4 code, GL account type (i.e. Credit or Debit), and payroll check date.
The output file is fixed-length and isn't comma-delimited.
