Use of a cell phone or PDA to access the system is unsupported.


Don't use your web browser's forward and backward buttons. Use the system navigation instead.

Several settings are needed to use the system optimally.

Use the instructions for your web-browser and computer or have your technical resource do it for you.

Because this is a browser-based system, the requirements are minimal. The online portals require Internet access and a web browser.

The following web browsers are supported:

For reporting and viewing data outside of the system, external software such as Adobe® Acrobat Reader® and Microsoft® Excel® may be required.

For printing reports, an HP-compatible laser printer is preferred.

Date Settings on your Computer

To enter information into the system, it is recommended that the short date format on your computer be set to MM/dd/yyyy or M/d/yyyy format.

Use the instructions provided with your computer and its operating system. The following instructions are for use with Microsoft® Windows® XP and are only one example for setting the short date format to MM/dd/yyyy.

  1. On your PC, click on Start, then Control Panel, and then click on Regional and Language Options.
  2. On the regional options, select the Date tab.
  3. In the Short date format field, select MM/dd/yyyy.
  4. Click on OK. Close the regional options window.

Web Browser Settings

Settings for  Mozilla®  Firefox®

The default settings in Mozilla® Firefox® typically are compatible with the system. If pop-ups are blocked, you will need to enable pop-ups from the website to view reports and secondary windows.

Settings for Microsoft® Internet Explorer®

The default settings in Microsoft® Internet Explorer® typically are compatible with the system. You may need to enable pop-ups from the website to view reports and secondary windows.

Tip:  To enable the help window to display without a prompt for javascript, modify the Microsoft® Internet Explorer® settings. If you are using the program through Remote Desktop®, you may need a technical resource to make this change for you. In Microsoft® Internet Explorer® , open the Internet Options, and go to the Advanced tab. Under Security, choose "Allow active content to run in files on My Computer*". Click Apply. Close the Internet Options window and the web browser. When you re-open the browser, the new settings are applied.
