Emergency contacts, beneficiaries, child dependents, and spouse/domestic partners, are classified with a relationship code on the Employee Contacts Detail and with specific checkboxes related to types of eligibility. Relationship codes are visible during the benefit enrollment process and are used by some benefit-carrier feed implementations and reporting.
