• The occupational codes come from Workers Comp Rate Codes.
• The Alaska geographic codes come from Tax Locality Codes.

Alaskan Occupational Codes

Create Workers Comp Rate Codes for each Occupational Code for Alaska on the Workers Comp Rates Table.

1. Enter the Occupational Code (such as 43-1011) in the "Classification Code" field.
2. Define the "Base Rate" and "Experience Factor" according to the client's standard values for these fields or by the occupation code, according to the need for workers' compensation reporting.
3. Assign the Workers Comp Codes to Job Codes. Assign employees to Job Codes on their Assignment tabs within the Employee Master.
