Speeding Year End Printing on Blank Stock
For faster year-end tax form printing when using blank
paper stock and printing the form graphics, you may want to adjust the
print quality resolution on your printer to speed things up.
You can change the printer settings in your operating system.
What you need to do is the following.
- From the Microsoft®
Windows® Start button,
select Printers and Faxes.
This option may also be selected from the Windows Control Panel.
- Right-click on
the desired printer and select
Properties.
- From the General tab, click the Printing
Preferences button.
- Click on the Advanced button and change the Print Quality setting from 600 x 600
DPI to 300 x 300 DPI.
- Apply changes.
