Attendance Types define categories of attendance for absence records and group Attendance Codes for reporting purposes.
A set of Attendance Type Codes is pre-packaged and can be customized by your Administrator. Types may include LOA for Paid Leave of Absence or PTO for a paid time-off absence.
Case in point: An Attendance Type Code can be selected on the Attendance Codes Table and on the Employee Attendance Detail screen.
Organizations can use attendance types to classify attendance codes.
