Competency codes define skill-areas that are evaluated during performance reviews and competency reviews.
Competency codes are sometimes called Review Competency Codes.
Where it's used: Competencies are grouped by Profile code on the New Hire Profile Setup that is available to your organization's payroll service representative A profile for competencies can be selected on an Employee Competency Detail to default the selection of a set of six competency codes. The default entries can be adjusted by selecting other competency codes.
Employees can be evaluated according to sets of competencies. Each competency is defined as a Competency Code.
