The beneficiaries listing for an Employee Benefits Detail shows an employee's benefit eligible contacts and whether those individuals are covered beneficiaries for that specific benefit detail.
Precondition: To define a beneficiary for an employee, that beneficiary must first be identified by having an Employee Contacts Detail record that has checkboxes for "Benefit Eligible" and "Beneficiary" selected.
To open the beneficiaries listing for a benefit detail, go to that Employee Benefit Detail record, and click on the Beneficiaries button.
A beneficiary can be either a primary or an alternate beneficiary. The percentage allocated to all primary beneficiaries for this employee benefit detail should equal 100 percent. If there are any alternate beneficiaries, the alternate beneficiary percentage should also equal 100. Edit and save as needed.
