Employment Type Codes assign the following to broad categories of employees: Payroll Mode, a Pay Group, a W-2 type, and either standard or FLSA overtime.
On the Employment tab of the Employee Master, the Employment Type selections derive from the Employment Type Codes Table.
Note: Refer to the validation table descriptions for Payroll Mode, Pay Group, and W-2 type.
An individual might be classified as full-time, part-time, regular, contractor, or another designation according to your company's business rules and government regulations.
Select the appropriate type of overtime to pay overtime according to the regulatory guidelines: Standard Overtime to pay 1.5 times the base hourly pay rate or FLSA.
