DetailsTax codes define employer-paid payroll taxes and employee-paid taxes including income tax withholding. Tax codes are associated with employees on Employee Tax Detail records.
The Tax codes are defined per Company Code. For proper tax processing, the Tax Agency code selected on a tax code record in the Tax Codes validation table needs to have the same Company Code as the Company Code selected for the tax code.
Typically, access to the validation table for tax codes is unavailable through the web portals.
Add, set up, and maintain code records on the Tax Codes Table to enable payroll processing to deduct and collect federal, state, and local taxes, for tax payments and tax reporting.
