Payroll Check Details
Standard paystub information displays for a pay statement: taxes, deductions, gross pay (earnings totals), benefit hour descriptions, and net "take home" pay.

Pay Statement Overview
- Upper
portion of the Pay Statement. Per
payment, the upper portion shows the net "take home" pay amount
and the form number with the words "VOID - NON NEGOTIABLE - VOID."
Stub Details
- Payment. The
payment date, form number, net "take home" pay amount, pay period
end date, employee number, and last four digits of the Social Security
number display.
- Earnings. For
earnings, columns display for Hours, Amount, and Year-to-Date (YTD).The
hourly rate listed is the average of the hours worked divided by the current
compensation amount and is rounded to two decimal places.
- Pre-Tax Deductions. N/A
is for not applicable. Deductions that process as pre-tax display. Benefit
deductions are included here or in the Deductions section.
- Benefit Hours. Benefit
hours display total hours accrued, year-to-date hours, and available hours,
as of the time the payment was processed.
- Accrued.
The total
hours accrued up to and including this payment.
- YTD.
As of this
payment, the year-to-date hours taken for this benefit, up to and including
any hours for this benefit and this payment.
- Available.
The available
hours for this benefit as of this payment, up to and including hours accrued
for this pay period.
- Company Info, Bulletins, and Upcoming Events. Payment
form messages for the payment and payment date display in a separate section.
- Taxes. Withheld
taxes display.
- Deductions. Deductions
that process for you, both employee and employer paid, can display on
the payment form. Benefit deductions are included here or in the Pre-Tax
Deductions section.
- Net Pays. A
net pay is what you "take home" on payday, whether it goes directly
to a bank account or is handed over as a paycheck. The Net Pay Amount
column lists the "take home" pay in dollars and cents by payment
type for the selected payment date. Net pay is paid with one or more checks
or direct deposits.
- Work time information displays at the bottom of the Payroll check details: Begin Date, End Date (Pay Code), Hours, Rate, Shift, Total Paid, and labor distribution codes 1-4, if applicable.
