Open an Attachment

When a new attachment is added, the current system date and time become the date that it was added. You may open or delete existing attachments.

Precondition: If the toolbar has the Attachments icon, the screen is designed to accept attachments to a record.  

  1. Navigate to the screen and record to which you want to attach the file, and click Edit.  
  2. Click on the Attachments icon.
  3. For the "Attachment description," type a brief description of the file.

For instance, type photo for the image to attach to the Demographics tab.

  1. Click on the Browse… button. Your file browser opens.  
  2. Select the file to attach, and click on Open. For best results, it is recommended that the file meet the specifications listed on the Attachment Manager.  
  3. Click on the Upload button. Wait while the file uploads.

To close the attachment manager, click on the attachment manager's X button.

On the main screen, click on the Cancel icon or the Refresh button.

To see the results after adding the "photo" attachment to the Employee HR Master, click on the Demographics tab, or open the Company Org Chart.
