        Report Categories
        
        In the Report Navigator, reports are grouped into categories 
 based on the typical function of the report. Documentation is developed 
 to reflect the standard report category assignments. 
        Standard Report Categories
        To see the available report categories, look at the Report Navigator. In the online Report 
 Navigator, the name of each report category is a report category code's description. 
 Select the Report Category to 
 open a list of reports meeting your selection criteria.
        
            - Administration Tables – Category contains specially 
 requested or highlighted reports for your company. Includes a report on 
 self-service time-off requests.
- Finance – Category contains General Ledger (GL) 
 and Check Reconciliation reports.  Note 
 that General Ledger must be processed before producing GL reports. 
- HR Compliance – Category contains generic HR and 
 Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance 
 (EEOC) reports.
- System Forms – Category contains generic forms and 
 the COBRA notification letter and election form. 
- Payroll – Category contains reports for static payroll 
 information and data on posted payrolls. Includes workers' 
 compensation reports and wages and taxes 
 by reporting period. 
- Personnel – Category contains additional reports 
 regarding benefits and static employee data.
- Payroll Verification / Pay Run Reports – Contains 
 summary and detail reports for un-posted payrolls in process. These reports 
 are based upon working tables and change with each pay run.
- Tax Forms – Category includes monthly, quarterly, 
 and many annual tax forms. (However, Form W-2 and Form 1099-MISC are in 
 the Payroll category.)
- Validation Tables – Category provides listings of 
 data contained in Validation Table pull-downs throughout system. The Validation 
 Tables category contains the Validation Table Data Report, 
 VAL00000, which filters by system validation table name.
