The Employment tab within the Employee Master displays the employee’s current employment status, payroll processing status, payroll status, and important effective dates.

An employee's payroll-processing status determines the payroll processing message seen on the Employment tab within the Employee Master. For an active, current employee, the message is "Payroll Processing Status >> Process Payroll."

Review information about the employees' employment statuses, view their current payroll processing statuses. Enter leave of absence information, temporary employment information, and effective dates.

• See active, terminated employees, and leaves of absence (LOAs).  
• Manage temporary and contract employees.
• Multiple date fields include dates for probation, termination, original hire, adjusted hire, and re-hire events.
