Payroll FTE Report
The Payroll FTE report,
PAY00084, depicts employee payroll hours worked for allocation
percentages and FTE calculations for a payroll and includes year-to-date
payroll hours. The Payroll FTE report is processed per payroll and is
grouped by location and department.
Information is supplied by archived payroll information,
Company codes, Earnings codes, the Employee Master, Assignment tab, Compensation
tab, Job codes, and Position codes.
Filtering options include:
- Posted payroll
calendar (required)
- Tier 1 for Location
codes
- Tier 2 for Department
codes
Sorting is by company (page break before company), then by
Location (page break before Location), Department, and then by employee
name (last, first, middle).
Hours on the Payroll FTE Report
This report includes the following calculations for hours.
- Worked Hours are
the hours where the earnings code is marked Wages Worked, the rate factor
is 1 or not defined, and verify available hours is not marked.
- OT Hours, for overtime
hours, are
the hours where the earnings code is marked Wages Worked, the rate factor
is defined and is not 1.00, and verify available hours is not marked.
- Misc. Hours, for
miscellaneous hours, are all hours where the earnings code is not Wages
Worked.
- Total Production
hours is the total of Worked Hours plus OT Hours, plus Miscellaneous Hours.
- Ben. Hours, for
benefit hours, are those hours for earnings where Wages Worked is selected
and Verify Available Hours is selected.
- Total hours are
the Total Production Hours plus the Benefit Hours.
- Employee Pay Period
Hours (EE PP Hrs) are the employee pay period hours from the Compensation
tab in the Employee Master record.
- FTE is the Total
Hours divided by the Pay Period Hours to provide a true per pay period
FTE calculation.
- The Department
payroll percentages are: the hours columns divided by the Total Hours
displayed as percentages.
- The Department
YTD (year-to-date) averages are derived from accumulating hours for posted
scheduled payrolls from January 1 to the check date for the selected Payroll
Calendar and dividing total hours by the number of payrolls included in
the calculation.
- The Department
YTD (year-to-date) percentages are derived by dividing the hours columns
totals by the Total Hours column and displaying the result as a percentage.
