The Time Import Activity and Exception Report, TIMEIMPORT, provides the time import log and shows time import activities, including time started and finished.
The time import log reflects the same information on both the client-server applications and online.
Where the Time Import Activity and Exception Report indicates that imported time records are incorrect or incomplete, a user may wish to print out a copy of this report and reference it while correcting records through detailed Pay Entry.
Alternatively, the user may opt to correct the time import file and re-import the time, opting to delete the previous time upload.
If an employee in the time import file doesn't exist in the system, this report includes the Social Security number or Employee number for that person and the following information from exception records not imported: pay or deduction code, Labor Segments 1 through 4, and hours or compensation/deduction amounts. If this occurs, and the employee should exist in the system, hire that employee and either re-import the file with the delete previous time upload option selected, or enter the employee's pay entry information through detailed pay entry.
