In standard implementations the Tobacco Use Codes table is not available through validation table maintenance and is only available to administrators through screen customization options.
Having the checkbox for "Smoker" cleared (not selected) on the employee's demographics tab indicates that the employee is code 1, Preferred Non-Tobacco Class.
Having the checkbox for "Smoker" selected on the employee's demographics tab indicates that the employee is code 2, Tobacco Use Class.
Code 3, Tobacco Use Not Applicable, disregards the checkbox for "Smoker".
