If you enter a deduction directly into payroll entry during Manual Time Entry, it will create a deduction record in the employee’s Employee Deduction Detail.
You can use the deduction rows on the Pay Entry Spreadsheet to add deductions during manual time entry on the Payroll Entry Spreadsheet.
Be sure to review the Deduction Detail screen after payroll processing is complete and enter an End Date.
Pre-conditions: Navigate to the Payroll Time Entry screen, for a payroll calendar that is un-posted and is not in gross-to-net status. Select an employee.
