Requisition Codes
Details
The Requisition Codes Table is used to log an open position
from the
Recruiter Role.
Use requisitions to:
- Post open jobs (only jobs marked as "Post
Job Info" are eligible to be posted)
- Manage job requisition data and budgets
Posting open requisitions
Jobs and positions are an important part of Human Resources
and Recruitment. Often, the job and position codes for an organization
often remain the same over time unless an organization is expanding into
new areas of business that require new codes.
- Job Codes – job
definitions, including an optional website
address for more information about a job.
- Position Codes
– define budget information for a "job." Select the job on the
position code.
- Requisition Codes
– the actual "job requisition."
Business Scenario
Once you have the requisition data, open the Requisition
Codes Table. Complete information about the available job or jobs.
When a new requisition is added, a requisition details record
is automatically created. Optionally, use the Requisition Details to define
additional information, including job descriptions or requirements.
To be posted on an organization's Open Jobs page within the
Candidate Self Service portal, a Requisition code needs the following:
- The
Active checkbox selected
- An
Opened date of today or in the past. For an internal job board, job postings
display five days before the Opened date. For an external job board, job
postings display on the Opened date.
- A
"Fill By" date in the future
- A
select checkbox for "Post Job Info"
